OPERATION WING GIRL

A marketing consultancy + a CNN director asked for help when progress was slow on developing a MVP for Operation Wing Girl, an online destination where women can connect with and make new platonic girlfriends and find or create local events to hang out in Atlanta.

MVP PRODUCT STRATEGY

Based on stakeholder interviews & behavioral knowledge of millennials and their devices, I determined necessary features for launch and a mobile-only development for MVP. I also introduced agile methodology with the developer and product owner to organize the project to make progress more efficient.

Mobile Only Launch
We devoted all our time to creating an experience our market uses the most: smartphones.

User Testing Recruitment
We recruited 10 ladies ages 21-30 for user testing and to give feedback on the mobile experience / user flow. 

Agile Methodology Introduction
We condensed deadlines from months to weeks and placed ownership on the team, not only the product manager.
